Auberge Brown is located in the farming community of Olds, Alberta, just 100 km's north of Calgary, 45 km's south of Red Deer and only 4 km's west of Highway #2, the main four lane motorway between Edmonton and Calgary.
Olds is a bustling community of 7,500 people, and the home of Olds College, western Canada's largest Agricultural College. The college is a leader in Canada for Agriculture, horticulture and land environmental management education. Its botanical gardens are a beautiful location to go for a quiet stroll.
It's a community where smiles are everywhere and strangers welcomed. Our location places us in the middle of a broad range of activities that are available to our guests. You can go white water rafting, horseback riding, or play golf at some 8 golf courses within 30 minutes (green fees usually under $ 50.00). Olds has an aquatic center along with numerous eclectic shops and restaurants.
Only one hour away is the world famous Tyrell museum, home of the famous dinosaur's. It's a great place to explore as a family for the day. Alberta is also cowboy country, and during the summer, we are located with a 45 minute drive of local and area chuck wagon races and rodeos, held nearly every weekend in communities nearby during the summer months. You can also visit working farms, market gardens, farmers markets and local fair.

You can see the famous Rockies from Olds, and you're only one and a half hours drive from Banff National Park.
